This wine shows a deep burgundy hue with dark purple on the rim. The nose is rich with spice and raspberry tones, joined by mint and fresh coastal flowers. After the wine opens up in the glass, additional tones of blackberry, sour cherry, black pepper, cocoa and black tea emerge. In the mouth, compelling flavors introduce a rich, plush texture with supple tannins and a long lingering finish. We recommend you decant an hour or two before serving to allow the aromas to fully emerge. The Hawk Hill Pinot Noir will show best two to four years after release, with a cellar life of up to 15 years.
